SEO Near You is a small set of free tools and guides for one job: helping industrial and trade businesses show up when buyers nearby search for what they do.

Who is it for?

Owner-operators and office managers at pallet yards, recyclers, roll-off and dumpster companies, machine shops, equipment-rental yards and commercial trade contractors. People who aren't marketers, who may have been burned by an agency retainer, and who want calls from buyers within driving distance.

What exists today?

• A free grader that checks ten on-page signals on one page of your site and shows its evidence.
• A service-area page planner that runs in your browser.
• Industry playbooks, fix explanations, guides and a glossary.

A human-reviewed audit service is planned but not open. There's a waitlist.

The rules we work by

• No ranking guarantees. Nobody controls Google's results.
• No invented numbers: no made-up rankings, traffic or "visibility" scores, and no statistics without a source.
• No fake reviews, testimonials or customer logos, here or for anyone else.
• No doorway pages, keyword-stuffed profile names, fake locations or paid links.

Examples on this site use fictional businesses, and they're labelled as fictional wherever they appear. Claims about how Google and AI crawlers behave link to the public documentation they come from.

Why are there no "SEO in [your city]" pages here?

Because we don't have offices in your city. Publishing them would be the doorway-page tactic our own guides warn against.

Is this the SEO agency that used to be at seonearyou.com?

No. Archived copies of this domain show it was used years ago by an unrelated SEO agency, and later by an unrelated blog. We have no connection to either, their clients or their work, and nothing on this site is carried over from them.
